Buy Trans Envy Magic Mushrooms Online
When two “mother strains” are united in the same fruiting tray, a new strain is formed. Each strain’s haploid mycelium unites to generate new diploid mycelial threads. These threads contain DNA from both “parent” strains.
Spores Lab is credited with developing the Trans Envy Magic Mushrooms and is most likely responsible for its commercialization. Trans Envy Magic Mushrooms is similar to both Penis Envy and South African Transkei.
Although the mushrooms do not have the famed phallic shape of Penis Envy, they do have thick white stems. The Transkei genetic side of the strain produces larger fruiting bodies and wider crowns.
Trans Envy shrooms retain the vibrating and stimulating feeling of Transkei, as well as the colorful sights and powerful euphoria of Penis Envy.
Trans Envy Magic Mushrooms, like Penis Envy, is a light sporulator, which makes collecting spores for future grows more difficult, but also means you’ll wind up with less of a mess if you don’t harvest your shrooms quickly enough.
The huge super-potent fruiting bodies produced by Trans Envy are gaining popularity. It’s contamination-resistant, colonizes quickly, can grow in unfavorable conditions, and can produce multiple dense flushes before succumbing to mold growth.
Trans Envy Magic Mushrooms is an intriguing, incredibly potent strain that is great for the novice cultivator searching for something significantly more potent than the norm.
In this post, we’ll go into the strain’s characteristics, history, and potency in further depth. We’ll also look at where to buy Trans Envy Magic Mushrooms spores and how to culture the strain.

History of the Trans Envy Strain
Workers at Spores Lab mistakenly placed two rye grain spawn packets — one with Transkei and one with Penis Envy — on a fruiting tray, resulting in the Trans Envy strain.
The resulting hybrid shrooms were carefully isolated, and a new genetic was developed by extended culture. Trans Envy combines traits from both breeds – “a happy little accident.”
Both mother strains are well-known for their strength and have a long history. Despite the fact that there are hundreds of hallucinogenic mushroom species on the African continent, Transkei is one of the only Psilocybe cubensis strains found in South Africa thus far.
The initial South African Transkei sample was taken at low elevations in dung under the shade of a tree near the Indian Ocean in South Africa’s Transkei region. It was discovered in the early 2000s, and the professionals who discovered it meticulously documented its location and growing circumstances.
Penis Envy has a far more complicated origin narrative. The initial strain came from McKenna stock.Dennis and Terence McKenna collected the initial Penis Envy sample while searching for new strains of Psilocybe cubensis in the Amazon Rainforest.
Penis Envy looked considerably different than it does now because the strain we know has been genetically manipulated to change its appearance and potency.
During the 1970s, Richard Gutierrez obtained the original Penis Envy sample from the McKenna strain and tweaked its features through genetic manipulation. We now know where this strain came from, although there was considerable frenzy about it for decades.
People initially thought Steven Pollock originated the strain before his untimely murder in 1981. Pollock’s deceased body was discovered holding a Penis Envy mushroom, and Richard Gutierrez soon received a sample. After Hamilton Morris interviewed Rich G on a podcast, we now know that this is incorrect.
Trans Envy Magic Mushrooms Potency & Psilocybin Content
Trans Envy, like many other strains with Penis Envy genetics, is extremely strong and on a completely different level than many other Psilocybe cubensis strains.
Because valid test data has yet to be released online, it is difficult to determine the exact total tryptamine content (psilocybin, psilocin, baeocystin, and several other tryptamines combined) of this shroom. This strain, on the other hand, has been assessed as exceptionally strong, with an estimated total tryptamine level of more than 1.8%.
Trip reports indicate that it produces effects comparable to the famed Penis Envy strain, including extreme stimulation, euphoria, and both closed- and open-eye visuals, even at dosages as little as 1.5 grams.
By studying at total tryptamine data from one of its mother strains, we can also conclude that this strain can reliably produce psilocybin levels exceeding 1%.
The Penis Envy strain has traditionally performed well in the Oakland Hyphae Psilocybin Cup (a competition in which cultivators submit shroom samples to be tested for psilocybin, psilocin, and other tryptamines and then graded).
Several Penis Envy samples with tryptamine levels ranging from 0.70% to 2.90% were submitted. With a psilocybin content of 1.65%, the strongest sample, cultivated by the cultivator Blackapple411, finished third in the competition.
Genetic Relatives & Variations
Trans Envy is a hybrid of Penis Envy and South African Transkei. This strain has several genetic relatives. Here are a few of them:
1. Penis Envy (PE)
Penis Envy is one of Trans Envy’s mother strains. This highly potent strain is well-known for its notoriously high levels of psilocybin and psilocin, as well as its characteristic phallic shape.
Penis Envy is the most powerful strain of Psilocybe cubensis.A popular phrase in the mushroom world is “a cube is a cube except for Penis Envy.” This expression arose because PE is unlike any other strain – it’s almost as if it’s a completely separate species.
Dennis and Terance McKenna are thought to have identified the initial strain in the Amazon Rainforest. The strain we know today was created through genetic manipulation.
2. South African Transkei (TRAN)
Trans Envy’s second mother strain is South African Transkei. It is also known as “South African Cubensis” by some dealers.
This is one of Africa’s only Psilocybe cubensis strains. The dry temperature and severe conditions in the country are not optimal for Psilocybe fungus, which makes the Transkei strain distinct and unique.
The original sample was discovered growing at low elevations in a patch of dung under the shadow of a tree in South Africa’s Transkei region (thus the name). It’s an above-average potency strain that’s quite simple and straightforward to cultivate.
3. Albino Penis Envy (APE)
The team at the vendor Sporeworks isolated and commercialized Albino Penis Envy. This is the original Penis Envy strain in a non-pigmented form. Albino Penis Envy retains the original PE strain’s extraordinary potency, and it has the potential to generate massive yields over numerous productive flushes.
The ghostly-white appearance distinguishes this strain from the original. This distinguishes it from the rest of the “Penis Envy series” and offers it some additional appeal.
Albino Penis Envy is more difficult to cultivate than the original strain. It is more prone to aborts than the other strains in the series and is not suitable for inexperienced farmers.
4. Penis Envy Uncut (PEU)
Penis Envy Uncut is a strain that developed from the original Penis Envy strain. It has a strong resemblance to the original Penis Envy strain. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to identify the difference between the two. The veils covering the gills are the only distinction between Penis Envy and Penis Envy Uncut.
The Uncut variant’s veils rarely emerge from the underside of the cap. The gills are not exposed, giving it the appearance of an uncircumcised penis – hence the name.
This Penis Envy strain appears to be the most potent of the bunch. Some report that the strain produces more psilocybin and psilocin than the original, although the fruiting bodies are smaller. Expect low yields, but strong mushrooms are almost certain.
Where to Buy Trans Envy Spores
Trans Envy is a rather uncommon strain. However, Trans Envy genetics can be obtained in the United States and Canada using sterile spore syringes. Unfortunately, Trans Envy has yet to arrive in Europe, and we haven’t identified any credible overseas dealers.
How to Grow Trans Envy Shrooms
Trans Envy is a remarkably easy strain of Psilocybe cubensis to grow.It can be grown utilizing the straightforward PF-Tek procedure.
With its high contamination resistance and capacity to thrive in unfavorable settings, this strain can offer good results even for inexperienced growers. PF-Tek is the simplest method for cultivating Psilocybe cubensis strains, and it requires little knowledge and equipment. Read our cultivation guide to discover how to cultivate shrooms using this technique step by step.
Most substrates suit Trans Envy well. Many farmers have claimed that rye grain or wild bird seed combinations produce the finest results. BRF (brown rice flour) cakes can also be utilized, however they do not work as well with this strain as grains or seeds.
The injection of one or more sterile substrate-filled jars is used in PF-Tek. Trans Envy spores are injected into the jars, which are then placed in a dark environment to allow the mycelium to colonize the substrate completely.
Remove the cakes once the mycelium has fully matured and place them in a basic fruiting chamber where they will begin to produce mushrooms. Harvest these as they mature but before they discharge spores to ensure that the colony continues to ripen. Mushrooms will develop from the cakes until the colonies are destroyed by mold growth.
Other Highly Potent Magic Mushroom Strains
Trans Envy is a highly effective strain of Psilocybe cubensis.Trans Envy is a wonderful pick if you want a potent strain that will knock your socks off. It is, however, not your only option. If you’re looking for other incredibly effective magic mushroom strains, take a look at these:
1. Tidal Wave (TW)
Tidal Wave is a cross between Penis Envy and the B+ strain. Both of these mother strains are known for their potency, which is seen in the Tidal Wave strain.
Tidal Wave took home the Spring 2021 Oakland Hyphae Psilocybin Cup with a whopping 3.81% total tryptamine concentration. That’s fantastic for a Psilocybe cubensis strain.
This variety produces short and fat mushrooms. The stems are thick, similar to Penis Envy, and the cap is broad and golden-brown, similar to the B+ strain. This isn’t the easiest strain to grow, but for the intermediate grower with some knowledge of the subject, the challenge is well worth it.
2. White Rabbit (WR)
White Rabbit is a strain that is albino. It is the result of the cross-breeding of Moby Dick and Penis Envy, two notoriously potent strains. It was created by a group of growers from Holland. The mushrooms are medium in size and completely white from stem to cap.
Surprisingly, White Rabbit is a rather simple plant to cultivate. It is highly resistant to contamination, colonizes quickly, and fruits well. Before the mycelium succumbs to mold growth, several flushes of healthy white shrooms are conceivable.
If placed in the hands of the appropriate cultivator, this potent albino could compete with Tidal Wave for the title of “strongest cube.”
3. Treasure Coast (TC)
Treasure Coast is a Psilocybe cubensis strain with a high potency. This is a delicate strain, and its overall potency will vary based on the conditions in which it is produced and the substrate on which it is grown.
It is prone to abortion, is not very resistant to contamination, and must be produced under ideal conditions. Treasure Coast isn’t for the inexperienced grower, but it may be a very rewarding strain for the experienced cultivator looking for a challenge.
The mushrooms have strong, long white stems and spherical tan heads. As the caps age, they frequently brighten to a golden color and open when the shrooms begin to sporulate.
Strains vs. Species: What’s the Difference?
Trans Envy is a genetic variation of the Psilocybe cubensis species. There are hundreds of these genetic variants in the P. cubensis species, which we call strains. So how is it possible for a single species to have so many different-looking mushrooms with varying properties? Isn’t it merely a different species?
There are hundreds of different psychedelic mushroom species.P. cubensis is, of course, one of these species. The genetic makeup of an organism is what defines it as a species. Two distinct species have biological designs that are essentially diametrically opposed.Psilocybe cubensis is not to be confused with Amanita muscaria. The ability of creatures to successfully breed or exchange genetic material in order to produce fertile offspring is what distinguishes a species.
A strain is a genetic variety found within one species. Two strains within a species may have distinct characteristics, but their essential biological building blocks are same – which is why strains are called strains rather than different species.
Psilocybe cubensis strains Trans Envy and Golden Teacher. They are visually distinct, have distinct development properties, and one is significantly more potent than the other. However, despite their diametrically opposed personalities, they share a common biological foundation.
Strains naturally occur in the wild. Over time, a species can create several genetic variants to battle pests, illnesses, and other environmental difficulties. Different strains are created by humans for the same reasons. We crossbreed plant and animal species to create more robust crops and better-working animals.
We also crossbreed genetic variants within species to develop desirable features. Consider produced strains of magic mushrooms or cannabis strains, for example. We blend creatures with two characteristics to get “the best of both worlds.”
