Magic Mushroom Spore Syringe – Thai Ban Hua Psilocybe cubensis

17.50

This Thai cubensis is an aggressive colonizer. The mycelium of the Thai Ban Hua is very strong and spreads over all standard substrate recipes.

The large mushrooms have rounded caps, and as they mature further, their rims will widen significantly.

We are uncertain about the specific strains of mushrooms used in Thai milkshakes, but they likely originate from the same strain as the ‘Ban Hua’ strain. The effects are potent, the mycelium thick and yellowish, and the fruits extremely pretty.

Magic Mushroom Spore Syringe – Thai Ban Hua Psilocybe cubensis

Special Solution

We dissolve the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ cubensis spores in a specially developed organic solution to enhance their quality.

Compared to water-based spore solutions, you will see larger yields, stronger mycelium, and faster colonization because of this special spore solution.

Why are these syringes superior to others?

  • After leaving the syringe, spores are 100% free from contaminants and exhibit high contaminant resistance.
  • Improved shelf life. The shelf life has extended to 18 months, an increase of over 6 months.
  • The spores are no longer adhering to the sides of the syringes, making them easier to handle and allowing for more growth parts per milliliter (500 g/ml).
  • The substance includes nutrients that stimulate the spores during inoculation.
  • A solution boosts the strength of mycelium.
  • Faster colonization of substrate and cakes.

How to use the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore syringe

A lever lock stopper at the needle’s end holds the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore solution inside the syringe. With this lever lock stopper attached, it’s easier to transport and store the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore syringe.

Make sure to work as hygienic as possible. Wear a face mask and sterile gloves, and/or disinfect your hands.

Hold the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ syringe in front of you with the lever lock stopper pointed upward. Remove the lever lock stopper by screwing it counter-clockwise.

Take the needle out of the sterile package and screw it on the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore syringe. Shake the spore syringe vigorously for ten seconds before you remove the protective cap from the needle. There are several methods from which to proceed:

We drop the spore solution onto the substrate.

After having prepared your own substrate or cakes, you can drop the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore solution directly from the syringe onto them. Press the plunger slowly so that drops of spore solution will come out of the needle.

Every drop that will be in contact with the substrate will be a potential mycelium growth point, so spread out these drops all over the substrate to evenly colonize the substrate with mycelium.

How many cakes can you make with a spore syringe?

One 20-cc spore syringe can easily colonize 6 liters or 13 pints of substrate.

Injection through injection ports

This is almost identical to dropping the spore solution onto the substrate. Open the injection port by pulling back the port protection cap. Use an alcohol prep to sterilize the injection port entry. Pierce the opening with the needle.

Now drop the spore solution evenly over the substrate inside the spawn bag or grow box. Once you inject the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore solution, take out the syringe and seal the injection port using the port protection cap.

Study spores and research using a microscope.

Seen from a scientific point of view, all Psilocybe cubensis are alike. But they do differ slightly in appearance and fruiting speed (phenotype). There are numerous Psilocybe cubensis that have different phenotypes.

These different cubensis are not considered subspecies but different strains. “Ban Hua” is a Thai strain of Psilocybe cubensis.

The naked eye can see the differences in phenotype, but a microscope reveals the true beauty. The wondrous world of the spores.

Many of our customers are scientists or enthusiasts researching these differences in a homemade laboratory. After you have prepared your microscope slide, drop some of the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore solution on it.

Cover the specimen with a microscope cover glass. The best magnification for Psilocybe cubensis and Panaeolus cyanescens spore research is 1000x or higher.

We are using liquid culture growth medium with the spore syringe.

The Thai ‘Ban Hua’ cubensis spores dissolve in a special solution that initiates the mycelium’s growth. We do not recommend the use of liquid culture growth mediums to get stronger mycelium.

If you desire to produce liquid cultures, we recommend choosing the professional Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore vial rather than the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore syringe.

If you want to experiment with this Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore syringe and liquid culture growth medium, we’d love to hear your feedback on your results.

How to Store a Syringe

Store the Thai ‘Ban Hua’ spore syringe in the refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C, or 35°F and 46°F. The shelf life of the spore syringe is at least 12 months after they leave our warehouse.
