A quick and simple way to enjoy tasty mushrooms and their health advantages is with a kit. We use a special blend of grain spawn and hardwood in our 5-pound grow kits.
We grow about 2–3 pounds of mushrooms per colonized bag using solely first-generation mycelium. Simple to use: just chop and mist, or put the bag in a clear tote with a little water and mist every day.

Blue Oyster: One of the oysters that fruits rapidly is the blue oyster. Even at 55 degrees, they will bear fruit since they can withstand the cold!
High-end recipes usually call for this kind of oyster. Compared to some of the other oysters, the mushrooms are thinner and more delicate, but their flavor is more complex, which makes them a favorite oyster.
Black Pearl King Oyster: This unusual type is a cross between the Japanese brown oyster and the European trumpet oyster. The outcome was the most “Umami”-flavored oyster mushroom. It’s a common rumor that this oyster has some of the best flavor. These require a cooler temperature range and are slower to fruit, but they will yield huge, dense mushroom caps.
Pink Oyster: These are among the most enjoyable mushrooms to cultivate. The vivid pink mushrooms can liven up any kitchen and resemble flowers!
The vivid pink color of this oyster, which thrives in the tropics, is evident even on the mycelium. Pink oysters prefer temperatures between 70 and 82 degrees, and they appreciate warmer weather.
At our farmers market, the pink oyster is always a top seller and has a very distinct “ham”-like flavor. These mushrooms go really well with any pork dish and taste great on pizza.
Yellow/Golden Oyster: Another lovely and entertaining flower-like fungus to cultivate is the yellow oyster. Their thin, fragile caps are accompanied by enormous clusters of growth.
They are very simple to grow and may flourish in almost any kind of environment or climate. Some people describe their nutty flavor as tasting like cashews or almonds. They work wonderfully in almost any dish. This is a fantastic option for any novice gardener.
White Pearl Oyster: This is another fast-growing, easy-to-grow oyster that matures to a dazzling white to light gray color. They yield mushrooms that are about medium in size and neither too thick nor too thin.
If you’re looking for an oyster mushroom that you can use in any kind of recipe, this is a perfect option. Although they may grow in a temperature range of 64 to 76 degrees, they prefer a cooler environment.
Phoenix Oyster: Though it forms shorter, larger clusters, this oyster closely resembles the white oyster. The phoenix oyster is a summertime specialty that thrives in warmer climates.
This is an excellent oyster to grow alongside medicinal mushrooms, which need temperatures between 73 and 78 degrees for fruiting. This mushroom is delicious, very easy to cultivate, and has a subtle, velvety, sweet flavor akin to anise.

All you have to do is plant it where it receives enough indirect light, then watch it grow. Every block will perform a distinct function. Indoor maitake cultivation has never been easy. After years of trial and error with the fruiting process and the best hardwood substrate mix, we have finally cloned a strain that will produce inside.
